Sandra first attended a KYB group as a new mum in 1979. When her children were older, she started leading a KYB group herself and, in time, became a part of the local KYB Team. In 2010, Sandra was invited onto the UK National Leadership Team and became its President a couple of years later. In this role, she served on the International Board (IB) for 8 years, and in 2020 was invited to become IB President. As President, she oversees all the work of IB, supporting the members in their various roles, taking the work forward and making it more widely known. Along with her role as IB President, Sandra still enjoys being part of her local KYB Team!
Jenny’s journey with CWCI began in 2005 when she was asked to join a KYB group. This led to roles on committees, a regional board, and also the Australian National Management Board as secretary. Jenny also led several KYB groups and has been on a CWCI Safari. Jenny began her current role at the beginning of 2023. Being part of an organisation that focuses on God’s word and women is such a blessing for Jenny and she loves working together in a team.
Cecily was invited to join a KYB group within 12 months of migrating to Australia in 1983 and was thrilled with it. She subsequently joined a committee, later serving on a regional board, the Australian National Management Board (ANMB), and the International Board as the ANMB President. Cecily’s current role on the board involves the oversight of the finances of CWCI International, and liaising with the Administration Officer, who deals with the actual accounting. KYB and committee work continue to be a source of great joy and growth in Cecily’s Christian walk.
Lyn was first introduced to CWCI by her mother. She then joined a KYB group herself in the mid 70’s and, from then, it became a very important part of her life, through having babies, right through to their adulthood. The weekly discipline of studying the word of God, then meeting with other women to learn and grow with them has been such a joy and the backbone of her walk with the Lord. She now oversees the production of the studies and marvels how the Lord brings women with different skill sets and knowledge to enable the studies to come together.
Chris first became acquainted with CWCI at a weekend convention in rural NSW, and was blown away by the wonderful non-denominational fellowship and dynamic Bible teaching. She has been a member of the Blue Mountains Committee since the late 1970s and has had the joy and privilege of serving on the Harbour Regional Board, the Australian National Management Board, and the International Board (IB). Chris returned to the IB at the beginning of 2023 in the role of Prayer Director to encourage prayer for the Board and its ministry, and to keep the Intercessors informed of prayer needs.
Chris leads a very full and active life, seeking to love and serve the Lord Jesus. She was appointed President of the Australian National Management Board (ANMB) in 2024, and continues to act in the roles of Vice President Prayer and Vice President Speakers on the ANMB. Chris has been involved in a wide range of CWCI ministries as a speaker, KYB leader, safari team member and KYB writer.
Tina was first introduced to CWCI as a young mum in Cornwall, UK. Having become a Christian in her teens, Tina grew to love God’s word and led a Bible study group for many years, as well as attending a local KYB conference. When her family moved to Shirley, near Birmingham, in 1991, she feared there would not be any groups nearby. Praise God there was a thriving KYB conference quite near and she started her own group shortly after moving. Tina was invited to join the National Leadership Team in 2012 as Northern Conference Co-Ordinator. She became President in 2020 and has seen God working in new and exciting ways.
Sue was generously gifted a weekend away at a CWCI Retreat back in 1991. She was told at that camp that they needed young women on their committee and soon after was privileged to be part of the CWCI North Island Team and NZ National Team as KYB Director. Sue also spent time on the International Board in the early 2000s. CWCI is an amazing ministry to be part of and Sue is thankful that the Lord has enabled her to now serve as President of the NZ National Team and be a part of the International Board once again.
